Activity Overview

Joey Scouts will try to develop their paddling skills on the Nepean River.  They will be joined in this activity by 1st South Penrith Scouts and supervised by Firefly, Chilli, Bunji and Rock

Clothing & Equipment

All members should wear clothes that can get wet, such as a rashie and shorts.

They must wear enclosed shoes, such as old sneakers or water shoes. NO CROCS OR THONGS.

They should bring a day pack with a towel, water bottle and hat. 

PFDs and canoes will be provided by the Group. 

Travel Arrangements

Parents to transport to and from the activity.

Start: 6:30pm (to take advantage of the light)

Location: Nepean Boat Ramp at Tench Reserve

Concludes: 7:30pm

• This activity will be conducted under direct adult supervision. Both male and female leaders will be present.
